From Ashes to Diamonds
This series, titled "From Ashes To Diamonds (2023)" contains seven pieces telling a collective story. This series represents triumph and self improvement, forged through hard work and tenacity, which is represented by the symbolism of coal, fire, water, and diamonds throughout the pieces. Diamonds are symbols of strength and hard work, and act as the central piece to this series.
STANDING ON THEIR SHOULDERS (2019)
This series captures the likeness of five young women-Emma Gonzales, Naomi Wadler, Malala Yousafzai, Angelica Ross, and Autumn Peltier- who have spoken out for the sake of not only other women, but for the sanctity and improvement of their country and the world. This fall, this series titled, “Standing On Their Shoulders”, was submitted to the Voices of Resilience exhibit, now located in the Springfield Museums. This piece was made to show clear examples of the New Narrative for women; now defined by a generation of young people who have taken the initiative to pave the future.
